Aztec Academy

Aztec Academy is our summer youth program designed to teach children and young adults about the history and culture of our indigenous ancestors

•   architecture

•  mathematics

•  astronomy

• art

•  poetry

• inventions like the canals of Mexico City

 

 We will discover which foods we still eat today that originated with the Aztecs.  We will learn words and phrases in Nahuatl - our first language - from the Aztecs. 

Last year we had over 75 area youth register for this awesome program. Com join us this year--tentatively for last week of August 2007.
