Fundraising and Donations
Mujeres Unidas of Fargo-Moorhead is a non-profit organization registered with Minnesota and North Dakota as a 501 (C) (3) organization. We are also a member of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, Independent Accounting. We rely on donations and fundraising to finance our organization. Contributions are tax-deductible.
Need
Our organization is currently housed in a 6 foot X 10 foot
office. All of our administrative work and many of our youth and adult
programs are held in this tiny space. We often have 5 to 15 people in
this small office. The limited space prevents our members from
participating in more physical events and activities. It also creates a
small working space. We hope to raise enough money to move into a
larger, more versatile building.
We also have many programs for the community's youth and adults. These programs require supplies and staff. The money needed to keep these beneficial programs running comes from donations, grants, and fundraisers.
